This beer was brewed by Brad and Alex Wyatt for the Star City Brewers Guild’s June 2016 IPA competition and came out on top! Now we’re teaming up along with the Wyatt’s and the Star City Brewers Guild to bring this delicious Double IPA to you. 

This kit is designed to make 5 gallons of beer.

Kit Instructions

Kit does not include bottle caps, priming sugar, or yeast

Suggested Yeast:
White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Fermentis Safale US-05 Ale Yeast

Because this is a high gravity beer, we suggest making a yeast starter if using liquid yeast, or pitching two packets of dry yeast.

 

This recipe is very susceptible to oxidation. A closed transfer utilizing CO2, or the addition of a Campden tablet while bottling will help minimize oxidation.
